Braselton is nestled along Interstate 85 with easy access to a wide system of roads and highways leading to and from Atlanta and surrounding communities and towns as well as Lake Lanier. It's home to the Château Elan Golf Club, several wineries, and the North East Georgia Medical Center. With a rich heritage and unique character of being located in four counties, Braselton hosts more than a million visitors a year with their resorts and business location. Some are farmers' markets, car shows and the winery draw people from all around. One of the most awarded wineries on the East Coast, the Château Elan features over 3500 acres, 10 bars and restaurants, a 35,000 square-foot European spa and 45 holes of championship golf.
The Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta is also a popular destination hosting over 400,000 visitors a year. The Panoz Museum is a historic racing memorabilia museum featuring a stunning collection of sports cars, trophies, and memorabilia. You've probably even seen a few of these vintage cars on the big screen such as the 1970 Dodge Challenger from the Fast and Furious film series. If antique shopping is more your thing, the award-winning Braselton Antique & Artisan Festival is one of the largest festivals in Northeast Georgia featuring over 300 vendors showcasing handcrafted artistry and vintage fines. This festival typically occurs on the fourth weekend in April and October with smaller events throughout the year.
Then we can't forget about walkable historic downtown, with dozens of antique shops, restaurants, and pubs offering some of the most unique eats and collectible fines around. If walking is not your style consider a complimentary ride around town on the Braselton Trolley, owned and operated by the visitor's bureau authority. Head out to the winery, come back to some of the hotels and attractions, and it's even reserved for private rentals.
Braselton schools covered three districts including the Gwinnett County school district, the Jackson County school district, and the Borough County school district. School district zones vary based on the location of the home in which County. However, the schools are some of the top-rated in the Atlanta Metro area featuring grades from prekindergarten through grade 12. Some of the top-rated schools include the Ivy Creek elementary school and the Duncan Creek elementary school.
